Who We Are
The Carteret County Wildlife Club (CCWC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to wildlife conservation and education.
We are also a group of outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy walking in nature, paddling, and hosting outdoor educational events.
In collaboration with the U.S. Forest Service, CCWC members have helped maintain the 3.1-mile Weetock trail in the west, and the CCWC has helped finance trail maintenance on the 22-mile Neusiok trail in the eastern region. Led by the Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, members of the CCWC assist in trail work on the Neusiok annually.
Participate in a Monthly Meeting
Join us on the third Tuesday of each month. Most meetings will be a covered dish dinner followed by a program about wildlife or a related topic. A few meetings may be special events, such as a fish fry on a river bank or an oyster roast on a member’s property.
Specific times, dates, and locations for meetings, outings, and activities will be announced at the meetings, in the monthly newsletter, posted on the online Calendar and on Facebook.
Come, join us, help wildlife thrive and enjoy the outdoors together!
